Laser Cutting

Pegasus Profiles Laser cutting services are used to produce complex, high quality shapes on thinner gauge metals. Large batch runs of components at highly competitive prices are possible with these fast and extraordinarily accurate machines.

Our 12kw fibre laser can cut plates up to 4000mm x 2000mm with a very small heat effected zone.

The cutting specification:

• Mild steel – 0.5mm up to 30mm
• Stainless steel – 0.5mm up to 35mm
• Aluminium – 0.5mm up to 8mm
• Laser marking and etching of parts
• CE Marking compliant

There are several useful features which can be incorporated to the design of your laser cut components, including tab and slot features and marking and etching. By using these features the speed of assembly and fabrication will be improved, saving you both time and money. Pegasus Profiles Laser is also able to laser etch the surface of the metal to allow easy identification of parts or, as an alignment aid during assembly.

Pegasus Profiles are fully CE Marking compliant. Our commitment to service and quality means that we operate all cutting services to the ISO 9001:2008 audited quality system and have been able to offer profiles that are CE compliant since 2014.

We are accredited with a Factory Production Control (FPR) certificate, ensuring we conform to the BS EN 1090-1:2009/A1:2011 standard for the thermal cutting/profiling of steel and aluminium components. By conforming to this EU standard, we are now able to provide CE ready laser cut parts for steel structures up to Execution Class-3.
