About Pegasus Profiles

Nigel Clark, Ian Clark and David Boarer founded Pegasus Profiles Limited in 1975. Based on a 5000 m2 site in Thetford, the geographical heart of East Anglia, their aim was to cater to the growing demand in profiled plate from the manufacturing industries throughout the region.

The Pegasus Profiles name soon became synonymous with exemplary service, and the company went onto establish itself as one of the largest steel service companies in the area.

Services include: rolling, forming, flame cutting, lumsden plough grinding, plasma cutting, water jet cutting and laser cutting.

In 1982 Pegasus Profiles (Southern) Limited was formed and began to operate in Andover Hampshire in order to service the South of England. Once established as a key player in the marketplace, Pegasus Southern predominately supplied flame cut and plough ground plate to industry. In 2000, the company moved to a larger new site on the Portway Industrial Estate, where they still trade from today.

Expansion continued, and in 1992, Pegasus Profiles (Central) Limited was formed to service Central England. The company operated from a purpose-built factory at Woodford Halse, near Daventry, Northamptonshire. In 2020 the business was incorporated within the Thetford and Andover depots.

In 2012, Pegasus Profiles were approached by Swedish Steel (SSAB) to join their Hardox Wearpart Worldwide Network. Now part of an engineering elite, Pegasus Profiles offer the superior quality of Hardox to develop parts from bucket edges and rolled screens to agricultural wearparts.

Pegasus Profiles celebrates 45 successful years throughout 2020.
